PILPG exposes young professionals to the fast-paced and dynamic world of public international law, while taking care to provide ample opportunities for professional development. Young professionals are meaningfully connected to our most senior members in order to create a supportive environment where mentorship is a priority. A PILPG affiliation lasts long past your time at PILPG; our vibrant alumni community provides a channel for continued engagement.

Our volunteer staff of interns, summer associates, research associates, and externs take full advantage of all that Washington, D.C. has to offer by :

• Attending panel discussions, debates, and events related to the field of international law
• Receiving weekly professional development tips from PILPG founder and president Paul Williams to help them shape their future careers
• Connecting with PILPG alumni, who  make regular visits back to the D.C. office to share their insights and lessons learned.
